While the weather was wet, a few Herbies put on their rain gear and enjoyed an evening celebration of Hops.  We toured Noerenberg Gardens on Lake Minnetonka.  Frederick Noerenberg was one of the founders of Grain Belt Brewery in 1875.  We had the good fortune to be able to tour the beautiful Noerenberg barn, which is only open to the public one night a year.  Afterwards, we headed to Back Channel Brewery & raised a glass to hops.
