It was a little toasty, but it didn’t hamper our fun during our latest Braiding Sweetgrass book discussion.  While there was a lot to discuss in all the chapters (there always is), we  decided to try a Flower Toss, as described in Allegiance to Gratitude chapter.  We each brought a few clippings from our gardens.  Each of us spoke about our clippings and placed them on the blanket.  We took the blanket, tossed it up and let the beauty of the season rain down on us.
