8 cups rhubarb
5 cups water
2 cups honey or sugar
6 oranges or 1 small can frozen orange juice
3 lemons or 1/3 can frozen lemonade
1 quart pale dry ginger ale or 7 UP
Simmer rhubarb until mushy. Strain and measure liquid into an enamel kettle. Add 1/3 cup sugar for each cup rhubarb juice. Simmer over low heat until dissolved. Add strained orange and lemon juice. Chill. Just before serving add ginger ale.
Add 1 cup sugar if using juices, 2 if using whole fruit.
