Apple Crisp
What better way to welcome Fall than with the warm spicy smell of Apple Crisp wafting through your house on a cold day?

4 large Granny Smith apples – peeled, cored, and sliced
½ cup butter, melted
¾ cup packed brown sugar
¾ cup quick cooking oats
½ cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon allspice
Pan 8X8, greased
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Mix together the butter, sugar, oatmeal, flour, cinnamon, and allspice. Place the apple slices in a greased 8×8 pan and sprinkle oat mixture over apples. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown or until apples are soft when poked with a toothpick. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
