Barbara’s Turmeric Bulgur
This is a super easy one pan dish that was requested by our Honorary member, Barbara Dow, who recently passed away at age 100. Bonnie made this dish for her with the ingredients at her direction. She added the ginger and miso, as miso reminded Barbara of her trips to Japan and brought additional flavor to the bulgur.
This recipe also features turmeric, the International Herb Association’s 2026 Herb of the Year. Make sure not to forget the pepper, as pepper allows the body to process the turmeric, which has great health benefits, including reducing inflammation. Enjoy. Shared by Bonnie H.
