On a lovely October day, several of us met to discuss a few more chapters of Braiding Sweetgrass.  Jill brought a beautiful  sweetgrass basket that she crafted on the shores of Lake Superior and Bonnie brought a few sweet sweetgrass rings from her garden.

The weather was perfect to meet outdoors at the MN Landscape Arboretum, with the sun warming us as we sat at a picnic table.  After our meeting, we took a walk up the hill to the Herb Gardens and created some smudge sticks out of sage lavender, and herbs of choice.
